Our team of professionals has been completing land development projects throughout Otago, Southland and South Canterbury for over a decade. With extensive experience at all stages of a project, we can advise you from initial concept through to completion.
Planning and resource management
We can advise you on what you are able to do with your land. Our expert knowledge of the Resource Management Act 1991 and District and Regional Council Plan rules means you don’t need to wade through metres of red tape. We can carry out feasibility studies and offer succinct advice on your options and any limitations surrounding the development or use of your land.
Civil engineering consultants
You’ll need a civil engineering design consultant if you are doing any earthworks or subdividing land. Whether you’re moving earth to create a building platform or a driveway; or need roads, water, stormwater and foul sewer systems for an entire subdivision – we can take care of the design, calculations and Council approvals process for you.
Our intimate knowledge of Council standards and requirements, together with expert use of 3D modelling software, means we can produce all of the plans and documents necessary to get the outcomes you need approved. We can advise on the most suitable systems and designs for your project.
We can handle the construction process for you, too. Meaning, we prepare contract documents and specifications and manage the tender process toward awarding the contract; complete on-site set-out, project management and contract monitoring to ensure what was designed gets built. When required, we can fulfil the role of Engineer to the Contract.
Once construction is complete, we’ll carry out an as-built survey and provide detailed as-built plans to Council in accordance with their requirements, ensuring all work is accepted and approved.
Geographical Information Systems
Our GIS team can capture, translate and manage your spatial data with the latest in GIS tools and software. We have bridged the gap between surveying and GIS. This significant point of difference means we geo-enable our clients and provide transparency of assets on an easy-to-use platform. We can collate new or existing data and produce online maps which can be viewed and edited in the field, as well as shared across your organisation.
